Talas State University (TalSU)
Talas State University (TalSU) was formed by Decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 189 dated July 25, 2000 and Decree of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 546 dated September 4, 2000 “On the establishment of Talas State University” on the basis of the Talas branches of KSPU I. Arabaev, KSNU, KSUSTA, KAA and Talas Agricultural Technical School. TalSU was registered as a legal entity with the justice authorities on February 7, 2000.

Founder: Ministry of Education, Science and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic
Financing: Budget of the Government of the Republic, payment for contract training of students, income from economic activities, sponsorship.
TalSU has a license from the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic to conduct educational activities under higher education programs in 15 specialties.
The total number of students in all specialties is 2635, of which 1195 are full-time students and 1540 are part-time students.
Purpose, goals and objectives of Talas State University
TalSU is designated to train highly qualified specialists in various fields and specialties in accordance with what is necessary to solve socio-economic problems for the region.
The goal of TalSU is to implement educational programs to train qualified specialists in the relevant sectors of the economy of the region and the republic that meet modern requirements.
