On March 6, 2023, a concert program was held in the assembly hall of the Kyrgyz Institute of Languages and Culture in honor of International Women's Day on March 8. Students of the Institute and College prepared a bright concert program for teachers and students. The students performed wonderful performances, there was a festive atmosphere, games, songs, dances, flowers.
For almost a hundred years, International Women's Day has been considered an official holiday in our country. It is generally accepted that he takes his roots from 1857. Initially, the name of the holiday sounded like International Women's Solidarity Day, and its purpose was to draw public attention to the infringement of their rights. Over time, the essence and meaning of this day has changed a little. Now March 8 is considered the day of spring, female beauty, tenderness, spiritual wisdom and attention to the beautiful half of humanity. Also in the tradition of the holiday is to celebrate the achievements of women in the political, economic and social fields of life.
